Beyond consulting, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I blend writing, digital illustration, and creative consulting to inspire others. My creative projects often center on community, mental wellness, and celebrating Black Southern culture.
In 2026, I was selected for an Artist Support Grant from the Arts Council of Greater Greensboro. And in 2025, I was selected as a GROW Artist-in-Residence by Creative Greensboro to develop an accessible journaling workshop series.
I'm a 2026 Grantee of the Artist Support Grants from The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro in Visual Art & Craft, one of 31 artists. I requested funds to upgrade my studio systems, produce digital collages, editions of current and past work, a podcast about my process, and produce professional portfolio materials.

I was selected as one of 9 artists for Creative Greensboro's 2025 GROW Residency series. The Greensboro Residency for Original Works provides selected artists free studio space for the creation of new work while offering opportunities for the public to engage in the creative process.
During May 6-June 2, 2025: I was a GROW Artist-in-Residence at GSO Cultural Arts Center, 200 N. Davie St.
I facilitated my Mane Curl Press: Put Pen to Paper: Digital Journal Creation Workshops, free to the public, emphasizing accessibility and inclusion, welcoming people of all backgrounds and skill levels to engage in creative expression.
Where participants learned graphic design, digital illustration, and creative writing skills to make their own themed digital journals using low-cost tools.
The residency culminated in participants each producing a draft 120-page journal and discovering new creative confidence.
Check out my episode of Talk City Greensboro, where I discuss in more detail the residency and my passion for sharing and teaching my artform.
I offer a signature workshop, ‘Put Pen to Paper – Digital Journal Creation,’ and others, which I can bring to organizations or events. If you’re an artist or organization interested in collaborating or learning more about my art, please reach out. I love connecting with fellow creatives and communities.
